The entire video was shot on site at the thrilling 2010 USA 10 k Open Water Championships in Long Beach, CA. Watch Fran Crippen, Chip Petterson, Andrew Gemmell, and Alex Meyer battle for the Gold. "This DVD inserts you directly into the race, immersing you into never before seen action – at times brutal, at times thrilling, but never dull." www.theathletevillage.com Tactics and Techniques of Elite Open Water Swimmers is the ultimate resource for coaches and athletes looking to improve their open water swimming performance. Steven Munatones describes open water swimming technique, strategies, and training with a methodology that is easy to understand and implement. Most swimming resources look at swimmers in a pool or a controlled environment. Highly choreographed DVDs may be pretty to look at, but often miss the essence of the sport.

When you wear your Aquaspotter belt while you are out for a swim, every watercraft in your vicinity will see you, so your swim suddenly becomes less dangerous.
